     Railway spikes are divided into manual spikes and mechanical spikes. Hand-made road studs are made by hand, with different dimensions, but the price is low, and the goods are generally shipped per ton. Machine-made road studs are made by machine manufacturing through forging, heat treatment, threading and other processes. Regardless of shape, size and availability, they are the best choice, but the price is slightly higher, and they are generally ordered by item.
      At present, the commonly used railway spikes in China include spiral spikes, wooden thread spikes, and ordinary spikes. These types of railway spikes are used in different ways, but their functions are the same. They all adopt different structures and Use the way to compress railway rails. Commonly used ordinary railroad spikes are divided into manual spikes and machine-made spikes. These two kinds of spikes are relatively simple in the process of installation and use, and can be fixed directly with a spike hammer.
      However, in terms of production technology, these two railway spikes are very different. The commonly used manual spike is an earlier production method in terms of the production technology of railway spikes. This production method uses hand-made methods to make railway spikes hot embryos, so the railway spikes manufactured using this production process will have certain defects, such as some bulges or burrs on the surface of the spikes. There are also some spikes that have more or less weight. Compared with this kind of railway spike, another ordinary spike can avoid these problems well, that is, the mechanical spike. The production process of this railway spike is a combination of manual and mechanical production. The surface of commonly used machine-made road studs is smooth, and the weight of each road stud is not much different. The railway spikes produced in this way can be used in better batches, and the problem of high defective product rate like ordinary manual spikes will not occur during use.

Railroad spike installation method
1. The placement and installation of safety isolation facilities is a very important point. I hope that everyone must not ignore it. In the entire dynamic construction process, whether it is a new road or an open road, everyone should be in the safety facility. If the construction is on a traffic road, the ratio of safety personnel to installation personnel should be 1:1. For construction on unopened road sections, the ratio of safety personnel to installation personnel should be 1:3.
2. Determine the installation location and ensure that the installation location is flat. For roads with expansion, cracks and unevenness, the roads should be smoothed and leveled in advance.
3. Clean the installation location with a brush and make sure that the installation location is dry.
4. Take an appropriate amount of glue and apply it evenly on the spikes.
5. Tightly press the spike on the installation position, make sure the direction is correct, if there is too much glue, be sure to clean it;
6. If it is a cast aluminum spike with feet, make sure that the depth of the hole is greater than the depth of the nail foot by 1cm, and the diameter of the hole is greater than the diameter of the nail foot by 2mm.
7. Do a tour within two hours after the spikes are installed to make sure that all spikes are not reversed, crooked or crooked.
8. After the road studs are cured for 4 hours, remove the installation isolation facilities.
